Meet The Dental Care Team - Dental Nurses

Helen

Helen joined our reception team in 2004. She is a qualified dental nurse, registered with the General Dental Council. Helen and has a wealth of clinical knowledge to compliment her reception skills. Helen will be starting her Dental Nurses Radiography course in July 2011.

Gill

Gill joined us in October 2007 and passed her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in January 2009. She is registered with the GDC.

Gill is the practice Head Nurse and Cross-Infection Control nominated person.

Together with the practice manager Gill has set up our central decontamination room.

Gill previously worked in the care sector and as you would expect she has an admirable caring nature and excellent customer service skills.

Julia

Julia joined the team in October 2009 and is currently working towards her formal dental nurses qualification. Julia loves travel and………….. She has a wonderful gentle, caring, fun personality and a gift of putting people at ease.

Hayley

Hayley joined the practice in November 2009 and is registered with the GDC. She gained her qualification in 2005 and has worked in general dental practice as well as a specialist orthodontic practice. Hayley has also worked for the Citizens Advice Bureau and has a good listening ear and a caring nature.

Hayley is a busy mum and when she has time she enjoys reading.

Emma

Emma was born in England and then as a teenager she immigrated to Australia where she qualified and worked as a hospital nurse. In 2008 she returned to England and in 2009 she joined the practice as a Dental Nurse in Training.

Emma has a lovely professional caring nature and puts patients at ease.

Wendy

Wendy is our most recent recruit. She has a warm bubbly personality and after over 20 years in customer service she has decided to have a career change and qualify as a Dental Nurse.

In her spare time she enjoys watching from the side lines whilst he son participates in several sporting activities

Marinela

Marinela joined the team in August 2010 and this summer will be working towards her formal nurses qualification. Marinela loves travel (especially music festivals) and cooking. All the team are keen to sample her fabulous culinary skills!

Camran

Camran is our locum dental nurse. He qualified in 2007 and is registered with the GDC. Camran has worked on and off at the practice for 6 years and has a wonderful caring nature. He has a keen interest in football and is an active member of the local community.
